Wargaming, developer and publisher of the multiplayer naval combat game World of Warships, welcomes the fall with two content-packed updates for both versions of the title. On PC, players have two cruisers to build in the Dockyard, a new Efficiency Badge system, and a limited-time battle type with respawn.

For console commanders, World of Warships: Legends kicks off April with the arrival of fan-favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration, plus a new PvE game mode called War Tales and a marathon to win the German cruiser Hindenburg.

Cruisers to Build and Badges to Show Off on PC
Headlining the April update for players in World of Warships on PC, the Dockyard brings two new ships available for collection. At the end of the 20 construction phases, the German Blücher is a tier IX Premium heavy cruiser that boasts highly accurate fire and armor-piercing shells equipped with increased penetration, improved ricochet angles, and flat ballistics.
The other vessel in World of Warships is unlocked by completing the first eight levels of the Dockyard, which rewards players with the Gambia, a tier VII Commonwealth light cruiser. This vessel comes equipped with high-explosive shells and a short-burst smoke generator to help take down enemy ships.
In addition to these rewards at the Dockyard, players can also show off their naval combat skills through the new Proficiency Badge system, which can be earned by playing Random Battles. Base XP earned after each encounter is compared to the recent global average, earning a Proficiency Badge based on a player’s performance.
Efficiency Badges come in four different tiers and can be displayed on ships in a player's profile summary. As a player's rank increases, their ships in their profile will only display the highest-ranking Badge — 3rd Tier, 2nd Tier, 1st Tier, and Expert.
Finally, and soon, the Unbreakable Line, a new type of temporary battle, will introduce the feature of respawn in World of Warships for PC. From April 14 to May 15, tier VIII and IX battleships, cruisers, and destroyers will be able to dive into action-packed 7v7 battles. In a race to reach 1,000 points, teams must capture locations and sink enemy vessels. But sinking these ships isn’t enough, as they instantly respawn with loaded weapons ready for battle.

Turtles and new game mode come to consoles
As part of the April update, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are surfing into World of Warships: Legends, allowing players to charge into battle as their favorite character with themed commander costumes and new skins.
To celebrate the crossover, players eager for new cosmetics can also get their hands on limited-time Pizza Time containers, with two available for free—one can be earned by completing the new Turtle Power! quest and another by battling through the Dragon's Journey campaign during the month of the update.
April also brings new ways to play. Tales of War, a new PvE game mode, allows teams of three to five players to work together to achieve specific objectives using ships from Tier III and above. Three Tales of War will be available to start, each with its own unique mission, such as securing a control point or escorting an allied ship. To emerge victorious, solid communication and strategy between teams will be vital.
For players looking for new vessels to wreak havoc on, the Hindenburg Marathon rounds out the April update, offering the Legendary-tier German cruiser Hindenburg as the main reward. Over the course of the three updates, players will have to work hard to accumulate a special currency known as Ship Parts. These can be earned by completing activities, playing through the main campaign, earning bonuses through Store purchases, or completing Weekly Tasks.
