Game Pass gets Sniper Elite and Citizen Sleeper 2 in January

THE Microsoft revealed the second wave of additions to Xbox Game Pass in January 2025. Highlights include Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector and Sniper Elite: Resistance. The new batch of games is more robust than the first, offering options for different types of players.

Fans of RPG and engaging narrative will have the chance to immerse themselves in Citizen Sleeper 2, sequel to the acclaimed 2022 indie title. In the game, the player takes on the role of a fugitive android with a damaged body and a cloudy past. The journey involves purchasing a ship, forming a crew, and completing contracts to survive in the anonymity of space. The game arrives on Game Pass on January 31st.

Now the supporters of stealth will be able to test their skills in Sniper Elite: Resistance. The franchise, known for its strategic gameplay and the iconic X-ray camera in the shots, adds another chapter to the series. The title debuts on the service on January 30th.

In addition to these games, the second batch of January includes Far Cry New Dawn, Starbound and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap. Check out the full list of releases:

  • Eternal Strands (Cloud, Console and PC) – January 28
  • Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) – January 28
  • Shady Part of Me (Cloud, Console and PC) – January 29
  • Sniper Elite: Resistance (Cloud, Console and PC) – January 30
  • Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) – January 31
  • Far Cry New Dawn (Cloud, Console and PC) – February 4th

Additionally, some games will be moved to the standard Game Pass catalog, such as Tchia and The Case of the Golden Idol, available from January 22nd.
